Decommissioning your product for a warranty exchange.

To serve customers quickly, we often ask for a decommissioning photo of the product instead of returning the unit.

For a fogging transducer, please provide two cuts and two photos:

  1. First cut: Remove the U-shaped water level sensor on top of the fogging transducer. You can either cut or rip it off—it just needs to be fully removed. Not sure which part is the water level sensor? It's the U-shaped loop labeled on our mist maker parts diagram.

  2. Second cut: Cut the power cord at the very base, leaving no more than 1 inch of cord attached. Do not leave excess cord.

  3. First photo: Show the "passed date" sticker located on the side of the silver transducer, along with the wires you cut in the first step. Sometimes you may need to scratch the sticker gently (like a lottery ticket) to make it legible.

  4. Second photo: Capture the lot number stamp on the center of the transducer’s bottom plate.

See the example photos below for reference. Submitted pictures MUST be as shown.

Not sure the transducer is the problem yet? Work through our mist maker troubleshooting guide first — a lot of "dead" units just need the discs cleaned or the float reseated. For coverage details, see Warranty & Returns. If you're outside warranty, a replacement transducer, power supply, and replacement discs are all available separately.
