Place the silver ultrasonic transducer fully into the black float. Tip: Make sure the float’s inner float ring is fully pressed into its outer shell so the transducer sits at the optimal depth to activate the water sensor. -
Connect Power:
Plug the transducer into the black power transformer, tightening any locking rings for a secure fit. Insert the transformer plug into a GFI outlet or power strip for safety. -
Water Placement:
Drop your assembled mist maker into any container of water, avoiding pure distilled water unless necessary, as the water level sensor needs some mineral content for proper sensing. The unit will immediately produce a cloud of fine, .5-micron mist for instant humidity or fog effects. -
Automate Your Setup:
For automated humidity control, plug your humidistat into a wall outlet, then plug both your mist maker and waterproof fan into the power strip. This will control both devices at once for consistent humidity in greenhouses, mushroom chambers, or humidification chambers.
