Replacement Mist Maker Floats (Buoys) – Fits 1 to 12 Disc Models

Ensure your ultrasonic mist maker operates perfectly with our replacement floats (buoys). These floating rings keep your mist maker at the optimal water depth for consistent mist production and unit protection.

We offer replacement floats for the 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 12, and 12XL disc mist makers. While designed for The House of Hydro units, most are also compatible with many other ultrasonic mist maker brands. Please check your non-House of Hydro mist maker size to ensure proper fit. 

Included With Mist Maker Kits
When purchasing a new mist maker, a float is included in the kit, so there is no need to buy one separately unless you need an extra or replacement float.

Using a Mist Maker Without a Float
It is possible to operate a mist maker without a float, but you must carefully maintain the water level about 1 inch (25 mm) above the misting discs to ensure proper cooling and performance. Our Mini Auto Fill Float Valve can automate this water level control. If you don't use some type of auto fill, the mist maker will only operate for a very short period of time as the water level drops as it's being nebulized. 

• Always maintain sufficient water to cool the mist maker.

• Maximum safe water temperature: 120°F (49°C).
